  • UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a Newborn Hospitalist to join a successful, employed practice in a community/teaching hospital on the PA/OH border (Hermitage, PA).  Join the region's exclusive NICU/Womens Health program that is delivering 1,000 babies/year and still growing.  UPMC Horizon's program has enjoyed steady growth due to the outstanding reputation of its physicians and its affiliation with both UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital and UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.  Enjoy a sustainable practice that features:

    • Strong support from 24/7 inhouse Anesthesia & Neonatal Nurse Practitioners 
    • Newborn Hospitalists take 2nd call with first call to be provided 24/7 by NNPs and moonlighting pediatricians
    • Can take call from home for 5-bed, Level II NICU
    • Balance of challenging, inpatient practice with quick access to full transport team for babies under 36 wks
    • Clinical position with academic title and the option to teach Family Medicine residents and medical students.
