Integrated Rehab Consultants Taps Doximity to Boost Physician Recruitment

With Over 70% of U.S. Doctors as Members, Doximity helps Connect, Streamline and Speed Recruitment Efforts; IRC Hires 100 Physicians with Talent Finder

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., November 15, 2017 -- Doximity, the largest social network for physicians and advanced practice clinicians, today announced an agreement with Integrated Rehab Consultants (IRC), the nation’s largest group of physiatrists, to help hire a targeted 150 physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians in just under a three-year timeframe. Since 2014, IRC has expanded to more than 23 states and now operates 350 skilled nursing facilities in the U.S. Along with their fast growth came the serious challenge of recruiting hundreds of new physicians to meet the needs of their growing practice and expanding patient base.

To manage, IRC turned to Talent Finder, Doximity’s solution for medical recruiters. With Talent Finder, IRC has been able to leverage Doximity’s network of over 600,000 U.S. based doctors in their recruitment efforts. IRC can now target physicians within a specific geography and specialty, enabling tailored outreach to the right physicians in the appropriate specialties. In addition, IRC recruiters can now easily match the skill sets of the candidate to the needs of the position. This has eliminated most of the unnecessary outreach that occurs through traditional recruitment channels, saving time and improving the experience for both physicians and recruiters.

“Historically, the process of recruiting physicians has been terribly inefficient and required cold calls to potential candidates from outdated lists. Doctors are busy, and they typically don’t have time to respond to recruiters that they don’t already know,” said Chad Randolph, vice president for Recruitment, Integrated Rehab Consultants. “Doximity’s Talent Finder has changed the game, and I can now connect with doctors across the country on opportunities relevant to their practice and sub-specialties.”

Since starting with Talent Finder in 2015, IRC is on track to hire 150 physiatrists by the end of this year, with more than two-thirds of their candidates sourced and recruited through Doximity. Outreach to potential candidates has become much more efficient, as IRC has enjoyed a 7.8 percent direct message response rate using Talent Finder. This is compared to a previous average direct message response of less than .5 percent. Furthermore, IRC’s jobs have received an average click-through rate of 24 percent on Doximity, compared to roughly five percent on competing platforms.

“When we can connect physicians to one another, whether it be to explore new clinical opportunities or improve patient care, we consider it a win,” said Nate Gross, MD, co-founder of Doximity. “Talent Finder simplifies the process of identifying hard-to-find specialists anywhere in the United States.”
